Job summary

First Western Trust in Boulder, CO is seeking a Private Banker II to manage commercial and complex consumer deposit relationships, deliver high‑touch client service, and execute accurate transactions. You’ll oversee new accounts, onboarding, service resolutions, and teller functions while supporting audits and security standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 3–5 years of client‑facing banking experience, knowledge of teller functions, deposits, treasury products, and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent banking experience may be considered.
• 3–5 years of client-facing banking experience.
• Strong knowledge of teller functions, client services, deposits, treasury products, banking regulations, and compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Notary commission required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Build and deepen relationships with commercial and complex consumer clients, supporting new accounts, onboarding, service needs, and annual review activities.
• Manage complex deposit requests and perform teller functions with cash handling and end-of-day processing.
• Support PC operations through audits, security procedures, and after-hours duties.
• Provide guidance to Private Banker I team members and collaborate with Operations, Compliance, Loan Operations, and Security to resolve client needs.
• Participate in business development and maintain knowledge of bank products, services, regulations, and procedures to ensure compliance and exceptional client support.
