Job summary

TIAA is seeking a Portfolio Manager in Private Asset Management to serve as a central point of contact for high net worth clients and oversee investment portfolios with personalized advice. You will engage with clients, implement asset allocation strategies, and maintain strong client relationships across market conditions.

Required 5+ years with wealth management clients, FINRA Series 65, CFA/CFP preferred, and a university degree.

Qualifications

• 5+ years working directly with wealth management clients.
• 7+ years working directly with wealth management clients (preferred).
• CFA, CFP Certification (preferred).
• University Degree required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds successful investment portfolios informed by market conditions and economic trends.
• Maintains and informs team of updated knowledge of capital markets and the investment management industry to make informed decisions and implement best practices.
• Evaluates portfolio performance and ensures compliance with regulatory standards including disclosures and privacy laws.
• Maintains client relationships, informs clients of market conditions, and discusses portfolio performance and objectives.
• Executes securities transactions to meet investment objectives.
• Determines acceptable risk levels with clients based on time frames and risk preferences.
