Mozilla is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Privacy Team and advance the Firefox Web Platform. You will implement privacy-improving protections, contribute to Gecko architecture, and build performant code in C++, JavaScript, and Rust within a distributed, time-sensitive environment.

Ideal candidates have a BS in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience, 4+ years in C++ and Rust, and a proven track record delivering complex features on tight schedules.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in C++ and Rust with memory safety and multi-threaded systems.
• Proven ability to scope and land complex features within tight release windows.

Responsabilidades

• Implement privacy-improving, anti-tracking protections in Firefox to mitigate user tracking and phishing.
• Improve architecture of Gecko, the browser engine behind Firefox.
• Develop high-performance, low-latency code in C++, JavaScript and Rust.
• Collaborate with a geographically distributed team in an asynchronous environment (Europe and US-East).
