Curia, Inc. in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Senior Principal Validation Engineer to oversee validation contractors and drive validation activities across site projects.

You will review proposals, interview vendors, perform bid analyses, and select contractors while coordinating with engineering, facilities, and QA to ensure timely IQ/OQ/PQ execution. You will maintain Validation Master Plans, support risk assessments, and ensure regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or relevant field with a minimum of fifteen (15) years validation experience in pharmaceutical validation or aseptic/sterile product facility
• Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, or relevant field with thirteen (13) years validation experience in pharmaceutical validation or aseptic/sterile product facility
• Experience with validation tools and processes, including temperature mapping and use of Kaye Validator
• Experience with FDA and EU regulations for pharmaceuticals and validation requirements

Responsibilities

• Develop and write validation protocols, reports, and summaries for equipment, process utilities, tests, and revalidations.
• Lead and mentor validation staff and contractors.
• Ensure change controls, records, and procedures follow cGMP and GDP requirements.
• Coordinate validation activities with departments to meet timelines and production schedules.
• Review qualification and validation documents for equipment and process protocols.
• Support internal and external audits with data presentation and investigation support.
• Provide validation oversight for plant upgrades and technology transfers.
