Job summary

EXANTE is seeking a senior trading professional to build and run its principal trading book across asset classes. You will provide liquidity, internalise exposure, and hedge residual risk with full P&L responsibility within the firm’s regulatory framework and best-execution standards.

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the role offers remote work with global collaboration and a path to scale the desk in a rapidly growing, 600+‑employee organisation serving clients in 100+ countries.

Qualifications

• 10–20 years’ experience in principal trading, flow trading, market making or running a multi-asset trading book
• Multi-asset risk management across delta, gamma, vega and liquidity
• Regulatory familiarity with MiFID II, best-execution and conflicts of interest

Responsibilities

• Provide liquidity against client flow and manage inventory
• Develop trading strategies including market making and flow trading within risk limits
• Identify, negotiate and onboard exchanges, prime brokers and OTC counterparties
• Design and operate risk limits, monitoring and escalation for the trading book
• Coordinate with Stock Lending and other desks to ensure revenue visibility
• Work with Operations, Treasury and Technology on workflows and platform tooling
• Manage conflicts of interest and ensure best execution and regulatory compliance
• Scale the trading desk with team growth according to business plan
