Job summary

Johnson & Johnson’s Discovery Oncology Statistics team seeks a Senior Principal Statistician to provide strategic statistical leadership for oncology drug discovery programs in the US. Lead statistical strategy, apply advanced modeling, AI/ML, and biomarker analytics to accelerate research.

You will design experiments, analyze high-dimensional translational and in vivo data, foster collaborations, and develop analytics tools while ensuring rigorous methodology and impactful scientific decisions.

Qualifications

• PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years' experience in pharma/biotech research.
• Expertise in experimental design, modeling, simulation, predictive analytics, and high-dimensional data analysis.
• Proficiency in R and computational workflows.
• Strong influence on scientific/portfolio decisions.
