Oracle is seeking a Sr. Principal Member of Technical Staff to help define requirements for OCI storage infrastructure services. You will work with senior engineers and product management, mentor others, write and review code, and implement proof-of-concept work.
You will communicate complex concepts effectively in a collaborative, agile environment and contribute to design, architecture, and scalable solutions across storage services.
As a Sr. Principal Member of Technical Staff, you will work with other senior engineers and product management to define requirements for OCI’s storage infrastructure services. Expertise in one or more Public Cloud offerings is a plus. You will be expected to make substantial contributions towards our design and architecture and will implement proof of concepts. You have excellent communication skills and can clearly explain complex technical concepts. As a technical leader on your team, you will mentor and demonstrate core values for other more junior engineers. You will write code, review code written by your peers, and write test automations. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
US: Hiring Range in USD from $135,200 – $306,400 per year. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
