Job summary

Clarity Innovations is seeking a Software Automation Engineer TS/SCI to design, develop, maintain, and improve automated software solutions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of software engineering, test automation, or QA automation.
• Strong programming experience with Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or similar.
• Experience with automated tests and automation frameworks.
• Experience with API testing and automation.
• Experience with Git or another SCM.
• Experience with CI/CD technologies and automated pipelines.
• Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
• Experience troubleshooting failures in application and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software automation frameworks and tools.
• Develop automated functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end tests.
• Translate requirements into automated solutions.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps processes.
• Identify repetitive manual processes and automate them.
• Develop reusable automation components, libraries, scripts, and utilities.
• Collaborate with developers to fix defects and improve quality.
• Analyze test failures, troubleshoot, and find root causes.
• Maintain automated test environments, configurations, and infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews and follow standards.
• Create and maintain technical docs for automation frameworks and processes.
• Monitor automation results and report to stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of software development, testing, and deployment.
• Work with Agile teams to embed automation throughout SDLC.
• Ensure automation aligns with security, compliance, and architecture standards.
