Job summary

Providence Shared Services in the United States seeks a Senior Principal Software Engineer to own end-to-end development and ensure quality across complex healthcare software solutions.

You will evaluate requirements, design and implement solutions, manage risks, and collaborate with multiple teams to deliver enterprise-wide programs while leveraging cloud platforms and modern development practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 12 years of related experience, with at least 5 years as a lead engineer.
• Proficiency with object‑oriented programming in C#, Java, Python.
• Git or similar source-control systems proficiency.
• Strong background in SQL/NoSQL data modeling and abstractions.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps, TFS, and Jira.
• Track record of independent and collaborative work in multi‑discipline teams.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, hybrid and other cloud technologies.
• Design and implementation of highly complex projects.
• Technical leadership for large, enterprise‑wide projects.
