The role involves applying CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing, analyzing large clinical datasets, and preparing regulatory submissions (INDs, BLAs) while supporting QC and process characterization.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field.
  • Four (4) years of work experience as a Medical Scientist or related occupation.
  • Experience developing CMC analytical strategies for cell and gene therapy products and biologics.
  • Experience utilizing gene editing technologies such as CRISPR-Cas9 to create engineered T-cells.
  • Experience analyzing large datasets for multiple clinical cellular products.
  • Experience drafting technical regulatory filings including IND amendments, BLAs, briefing books, and regulatory responses.
  • Experience developing and transferring cellular or biologics analytical methods suitable for use in QC or product characterization.

Job Summary

Compensation

Base salary range of $175,166 - $183,690 per year, plus an annual discretionary bonus and various incentive cash and stock opportunities based on eligibility.
