Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a Product Engineer to advance RF/microwave designs for communications, measurement, and aerospace applications in Chelmsford, MA. You will join a team of leading RF professionals to develop high-performance MMICs and modules.

The role emphasizes GaAs/GaN device physics, EM simulation, and hands-on testing, with collaboration across multi-disciplinary groups and regular design reviews. US citizenship or green card is required for access to technical data.

Qualifications

  • MSEE/PhD in EE with 10+ years of RF/microwave experience.
  • US citizen or green card holder.
  • Proficiency with Cadence, ADS, AWR, HFSS, Sonnet, Momentum, RFPro.
  • Knowledge of GaAs/GaN device physics and modeling.
  • PA linearization and efficiency experience is a plus.
  • Microwave/millimeter-wave circuit/system design.
  • RF/microwave test equipment and measurement techniques.
  • Excellent teamwork and communications skills.

Analog Devices is seeking to hire a product engineer to support the development of RF/microwave designs to be used in Communications, Test & Measurement Instrumentation, Industrial, and Aerospace and Defense. This exciting role will offer the opportunity to work with and learn from some of our top industry leading RF and microwave professionals.

Qualifications

Experience with GaAs and/or GaN semiconductor technologies, MMIC design and layout, electro‑magnetic simulation, thermal analysis and industry standard EDA tools like ADS and Momentum/RFPro/Sonnet.

  • MSEE/PhD degree in EE with background in RF/microwave engineering, with a minimum of 10+ years of experience. Ph.D. in relevant areas could be counted towards industry experience depending on the thesis.
  • Must be a US citizen or green card holder
  • Proficiency with EDA tools: Cadence, ADS, AWR, Ansys HFSS, Sonnet, Momentum, RFPro etc.
  • Knowledge of GaAs and/or GaN device physics and modeling
  • Knowledge of PA linearization and efficiency enhancement is a plus
  • Microwave/millimeter‑wave circuit/system design experience
  • Proficiency with RF/microwave test equipment and measurement techniques, e.g. spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, power meters, etc.
  • Must have excellent teamwork and communications skills

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $157,080 to $227,460.

  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance‑based bonus which is based on personal and company factors
  • This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time, and other benefits.
  • Benefits for the position includes 10 paid holidays per year, paid vacation starting at 136 hours per year for full-time employees (prorated for part-time employees), and paid sick time that exceeds the requirements of the Washington State Sick Leave law.
