Job summary

Attalon, Inc. in Traverse City, MI seeks a Principal or Senior Principal Program Manager to lead programs from bid through production, coordinating engineering, operations, finance, supply chain, and quality to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives.

As IPT quarterback, you will plan tasks, manage work packages, identify risks, and ensure alignment across functions while delivering tangible customer value and ensuring program success throughout lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Mechanical Eng, Electrical Eng, Optical Eng, or related field.
• 7–10+ years of experience in program, project, or product management.
• 5+ years working for a defense focused supplier or prime defense contractor.
• Ability to obtain SECRET security clearance.
• PMP certification.
• Experience with Program/Project Management tool sets (MS Project, Jira, Confluence, DOORS).

Responsibilities

• Manage cost, schedule, and system performance for programs assigned.
• Synchronize efforts of engineering, operations, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure program outcomes are met.
• Develop a strong working relationship with customers and guide programs to exceed customer expectations.
• Problem solve and overcome challenges when programs encounter unexpected problems.
