Job summary

IronEagleX is seeking a Senior Principal Intelligence Analyst to support analytics teams in Crystal City, VA. You will conduct advanced all-source analysis, work with data scientists, engineers, and analysts to improve speed, depth, and quality of analytic production.

You will apply analytic tradecraft to interpret information from multiple sources, identify patterns and gaps, and help shape data-driven approaches to mission problems.

Qualifications

• Expert-level experience conducting all-source analysis in intelligence, defense, national security, or mission-focused environments.
• Strong all-source analytic tradecraft, including source evaluation, structured analytic techniques, confidence statements, assumption testing, and intelligence writing standards.
• Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, defensible analytic judgments.
• Experience with large, multi-source datasets in analytic production, targeting, or threat analysis.
• Translate mission questions into data requirements for technical teams.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and developers in a mission context.
• Familiarity with data-driven analytic methods and visualization environments.
• Emphasis on sourcing, evidentiary standards, and analytic defensibility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct expert-level all-source analysis to produce defensible assessments and recommendations.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, anomalies and intelligence gaps.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, developers, and analysts to translate questions into data requirements.
• Provide subject matter expertise for design and refinement of data models and analytic tools.
• Review outputs from data science models for relevance, accuracy, and mission value.
• Develop analytic methodologies combining traditional tradecraft with data-driven techniques.
• Identify data gaps and analytic risks that affect assessments or outputs.
• Produce written assessments, briefings, and decision-support products for stakeholders.
• Ensure analytic workflows support analyst needs without front-end development responsibility.
