Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Principal Test Design Hardware Engineer to join a team in Waynesboro, VA. Required are a degree with extensive experience and U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain/maintain an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
• Experience in hardware design and integrated (analog, power, digital) hardware.
• Experience with panel design, cable design, and schematic layouts.
• Experience with lab test equipment such as network analyzers, DMM, oscilloscopes.
• Advanced degree in Engineering or related STEM discipline (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design creative and flexible hardware solutions with a team of experts.
• Hardware design examples include console design, interface panel layouts and interconnections, power/cooling monitoring and control, RF design, and digital circuit design.
• Software/hardware integration and requirements verification.
• Investigate, resolve, and document product anomalies.
• Understand design to cost, scope, and schedule.
