Job summary
Akamai Technologies is seeking a seasoned architect and technical leader to design and scale high-density ARM64 compute platform functionality and associated hypervisor layers across the Akamai Connected Cloud. You will drive hardware enablement strategy and mentor a team of engineers to deliver robust, scalable cloud infrastructure.
The role requires deep CPU architecture knowledge and hands-on experience with cloud compute virtualization, including KVM/QEMU, Linux APIs, and container runtimes,
Qualifications
- Candidates must have 12 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Deep familiarity with modern CPU architectures and cloud compute virtualization technologies.

- Architect and scale high-density ARM64 compute platform functionality and hypervisor layers across the Akamai Connected Cloud.
- Lead technical strategy for hardware enablement.
