Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer TechLead to join our Test Solutions team onsite in Fort Wayne, Indiana. You will design, integrate, and deploy missile test systems in a lab environment with cross‑functional engineers and external partners.

This role requires a DoD Secret clearance (ability to obtain interim clearance) and a minimum of ten years in test system engineering, including hardware and software development and integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Minimum of ten years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading complex test system engineering activities (hardware and software).
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government security clearance.

This position involves working in a lab environment with weapon test system designers to understand requirements, design solutions, integrate, and deploy systems supporting test and tactical software development, testing, and delivery of missiles to the warfighter.

Qualifications You Must Have

• ABachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and aminimum of ten (10) yearsprior relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experienceleading the execution of complex test system engineering activities, including hardware and test software development, integration, verification, validation, and maintenance within production, manufacturing, or product qualification environments.
• Experience directing the design, development, and/or integration of test equipment and leading teams of experienced professionals.
• The ability to obtain andmaintaina U.S. government-issued security clearance isrequired. U.S. citizenship isrequired, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Strong organization, planning, coordination, and communication skillswith the ability toinfluence outsideyour immediate functional area.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with rack assembly, cabling, electronics maintenance, and test/data acquisition equipment.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems using oscilloscopes, analyzers, and related tools.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, Agile methodologies, gate reviews, and EVMS.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
