Principal Automation Engineer will lead DeltaV platform design, software integration, and coordination with system integrators, corporate IT, and site engineering to enable startup and qualification for GMP manufacturing. This senior role requires collaboration, strong technical depth in automation, process control, and data historians, and the ability to drive a multi-workstream

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related applicable discipline required.
• 5+ years of experience in API/Drug Substance manufacturing preferred.
• Technical knowledge in process instrumentation and batch control.
• Experience with system integration including MES.
• Knowledge of data historians and DeltaV DCS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of the DeltaV platform and software integration teams.
• Manage one or more system integrators for DeltaV software delivery and testing.
• Collaborate to develop and manage the DeltaV DCS system design, testing, startup, and qualification.
• Support GMP manufacturing operations during startup and scale-up.
• Develop site procedures for automation platforms and related administration activities.
