Job summary

Humana Inc. seeks a Principal Chief Architect to unify product strategy and solution architecture across Pharmacy, PCO, Home Solutions, and Humana Military. You will own cross-segment roadmaps and author architectural blueprints guiding delivery teams.

You will lead architecture reviews, establish standards, and ensure compliant designs across regulated healthcare environments, partnering with security, data, and enterprise governance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive IT experience spanning product management, solution architecture, or a meaningful combination of both disciplines.
• 5+ years of solution architecture or senior product ownership experience within healthcare IT in regulated environments.
• Proven track record owning cross-functional product backlogs and roadmaps across multiple segments.

Responsibilities

• Define and own a unified cross-segment product roadmap balancing segment priorities and shared platform investments.
• Establish and maintain reference architectures, design patterns, and integration standards across CenterWell segments.
• Lead architecture runways and delivery-ready specifications for engineering teams.
• Own top-level backlogs for shared platforms with clear acceptance criteria and non-functional requirements.
• Define integration contracts, API standards, and data boundaries for cross-segment flows.
• Represent product and architecture perspective in governance forums (ARB, TRB, MOR).
