Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an Analog Design Engineer (Senior Principal) to drive analog circuit design, modeling, and verification for defense products. The role is located in Woodland Hills, CA, with standard 9/80 schedule and potential for DoD Secret Clearance transfer.

Collaboration across MBSE, DevSecOps, and agile practices will be essential to deliver optimized product lines for the warfighter.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, a Master's degree with 6 years of experience or a Ph.D. with 4 years of experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical fields.
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Active US Government Secret Clearance is required
• Experience in Analog circuit design, modeling, and simulation
• Experience with schematic capture and layout in Mentor Xpedition, Cadence, and/or Altium Designer
• Experience with circuit and sub-system test and troubleshooting
• Ability to work onsite full-time in Woodland Hills, CA

Responsibilities

• Under minimum supervision, perform analog circuit design and analysis to support development of new product.
• Design tasks include system level requirements analysis, subsystem level requirements development, conceptual design, preliminary design, and detailed design through design verification and characterization.
• Analysis tasks include circuit modeling, simulation and analysis as well as signal and power integrity analyses on PCB design.
