Job summary

JPMorganChase in Jersey City, NJ seeks a Senior Principal Software Engineer to lead AI-native SDLC and PDLC initiatives across architecture, coding, security, testing, and release. You will embed AI into production workflows to boost developer productivity and product quality.

You will guide multiple teams, align with senior leaders, ensure responsible AI practices, and drive adoption of agentic patterns and enterprise tooling.

Qualifications

• 10+ years applied engineering experience in AI/LLMs
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering delivery
• Strong executive stakeholder communication and alignment

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of an AI-native SDLC and PDLC model across architecture, coding, security, testing, release, and observability phases.
• Operationalize agentic patterns and toolchains, including LLM orchestration, skills, context engineering, and MCP-based integrations.
• Ensure responsible AI practices in production: guardrails, evaluation, monitoring, and auditable workflows.
• Partner with App Dev leaders and platform owners to identify high-impact use cases, validate value, and scale production adoption.
