Job summary

CenterWell Gulfport is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our team in Gulfport, MS. This full-time, onsite clinic role focuses on compassionate, patient-centered care for adult and geriatric populations in a collaborative environment.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team, maintain records, and participate in quality improvement projects to improve patient outcomes. A competitive salary and benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
  • TB screening will be performed if selected for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive outpatient care to adult and senior patients.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
  • Diagnose and manage moderately to complex medical conditions.
  • Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists.
  • Participate in clinical quality improvement projects.
  • Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
  • Contribute to projects and innovations in care delivery.
  • Report to the Area Medical Director.
  • This is an onsite, in-person, clinic-based role in Gulfport.
