Job summary

St. Tammany Health System in Louisiana seeks a physician to provide leadership and medical direction for the St. Tammany Physician’s Network.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients in accordance with accepted standards of care, and participate in developing standards of care and supporting network initiatives. The role includes maintaining clinic schedules as outlined in contractual agreements and collaborating with a team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a medical license from the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners.
• Current BLS and ALS certifications from ILCOR-recognized providers.
• ILCOR course must include a manikin check off, ALS required by specialty only.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and medical direction for St. Tammany Physician’s Network.
• Input in development of standards of care.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients at St. Tammany Physicians Network in accordance with generally accepted standards of medical care for the specialty.
• Maintain clinic schedules as noted in contractual agreement.
