Job summary

Amazon seeks a Sr. Preventative Maintenance Program Manager to lead Maintenance Operations across its WWGS retail grocery footprint.

You will design, implement, and optimize preventative maintenance programs for refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and store equipment, while aligning with safety and regulatory standards. You will manage vendor relationships, budgets, and KPIs, driving cost reductions and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and reporting to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement preventative maintenance programs for refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and store equipment across multiple locations.
• Develop maintenance schedules, SOPs, and best practices to maximize equipment lifespan and minimize downtime.
• Create asset management databases tracking inventory, maintenance history, and performance metrics.
• Establish KPIs to measure program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and contractors, ensuring SLAs are met.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing while maintaining quality standards.
• Coordinate emergency repairs and ensure rapid response protocols.
• Develop and manage annual budgets for preventative maintenance across sites.
• Analyze maintenance costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising safety.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and FDA requirements; maintain audit-ready documentation.
