Qualifications

• Reads technical drawings and specifications to blueprint the part.
• Sets up and operates press brake equipment for complex forming operations.
• Uses precision measuring instruments to verify part accuracy during production.
• Ability to work independently on complex setups and changing job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake equipment for complex forming operations.
• Perform bending, forming, and shaping of metal components to blueprint specifications.
• Select, install, and adjust tooling, dies, and machine parameters for optimal performance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Perform first article inspection and in-process checks using precision measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot setup issues and adjust to ensure part accuracy and repeatability.
• Support high-mix, low-to-medium volume production and NPI builds.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, and production teams on part requirements.
• Maintain 6S standards and safety procedures.
