Job summary

Corestream is a fast-growing financial and benefits technology company located in Tampa, FL, seeking a Senior Premium Accountant to track and evaluate day-to-day accounting transactions and manage the premium accounting function. You will work closely with our Assistant Controller to ensure accurate general ledger activity.

The role requires 3+ years of accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and expertise in NetSuite.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting/audit experience required.
• Advanced computer skills with MS Office and accounting software.
• Ability to analyze and manipulate large data sets.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, standards, laws and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile premium cash deposits and payments.
• Manage and perform daily transactional activities with the General Ledger (Netsuite).
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
• Develop and maintain desktop procedures for ongoing activities.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce account reconciliations.
• Process monthly, quarterly, and annual state filings.
• Support annual audits.
