Specialist Construction Recruitment Consultant/Recruiting Executive/Industry Expert/People Leader/Team Contributor/Operations & Processes/Staffing

Our business is growing, and we need strong project management to lead our preconstruction department into the new year — YOU!

Project expertise: commercial and industrial

• Hospitality

Primary Responsibilities:

• Estimating and leading the estimating group on design phase cost estimates
• Reading drawings, geo-tech reports, and specifications
• Identifying Utility conflicts and Bypass areas
• Performing quantity take-offs of Pipe & Appurtenances/Concrete/Sitework, including quantity counts and linear measurements
• Formulating unit prices as needed
• Soliciting Subcontractor/Supplier participation via phone and email
• Writing RFIs to Engineers
• Proficient in scope analysis and estimating deficiencies
• Developing project RFQ and RFP
• Establishing project database for proposals
• Creating construction schedules in P6
• Coordinating and establishing project budgets (GMP)
• Managing projects ranging from 4 Million to 120 Million with hard deadlines, requiring efficient multi-tasking
• Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and subcontractors
• Participating in pre- and post-construction reviews

Preferences/Qualifications:

• 7-10 years estimating and PreCon experience. Field experience is a plus.
• Previous experience with Hard Bid Municipal Commercial Projects
• Understanding construction terminology
• Strong communication and organizational skills, proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and knowledge of MC2 preferred
• Valid Driver's License and ability to commute to job sites
