Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a Distinguished Scientist in Safety Assessment to provide expertise across the drug development value chain. You will lead the oversight of nonclinical safety programs, author regulatory documents, and interact with global regulatory agencies.

Ideal candidates will hold a PhD or DVM and possess over 12 years of pharmaceutical experience, alongside strong skills in toxicology strategy development and excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Experience in preparing and submitting IND and CTD submissions.
• Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory nonclinical testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nonclinical safety program of drug candidates.
• Support development of new products and toxicology strategies.
• Write regulatory documents and ensure scientific standards.

Skills

Excellent presentation skills

Excellent writing skills

Knowledge of GLP and ICH policies

Experience as GLP Study Director

Interpretation of ophthalmology toxicity studies

Education
