Job summary

Sqaservices is seeking a Quality Mechanical Inspector for a full-time or part-time position in Chicago, IL. The successful candidate will conduct precision inspections of mechanical parts and assemblies, utilizing various inspection tools to ensure adherence to specifications.

Qualifications include 5+ years in mechanical inspection and proficiency in GD&T. Must be able to attend training in SoCal, with travel accommodations provided. This role requires ITAR compliance for access to technical data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with precision mechanical parts inspection.
• Strong ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
• Experience with certificates of conformance and inspection documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct precision mechanical inspections at one or more client suppliers.
• Inspect purchased parts for workmanship and compliance.
• Utilize inspection equipment such as micrometers and CMMs.
