For more information about Draper, visit www.draper.com.**Job Description Summary:**A Senior Precision Analog/Power Electronics Engineer designs, specifies, develops, and tests analog/ power electronics for a wide array of applications, such as switched-mode power conversion, battery management circuitry, distributed power architectures, wireless power transfer, radiation hardened designs, motor controllers, low noise power conditioning for precision instrumentation, analog front ends, signal conditioning, analog-to-digital conversion, precision feedback systems, and dc/dc conversion. The engineer develops the architecture, designs these circuits, performs simulations, implements the physical layout, verifies and tests designs. They also perform a variety of engineering activities throughout the life cycle to support planning, design, test, deployment, and sustainment. Applicant will be responsible for carrying out circuit simulations to verify custom spice models against component specifications.
