Job summary

Inkhouse is seeking an Account Director to lead multiple client accounts as a strategic advisor and primary client contact. You will oversee account strategy, execution, and team performance, while independently leading client meetings and strategy discussions.

The ideal candidate will manage senior-level client relationships, mentor junior team members, and contribute to growth initiatives across media relations, thought leadership, speaking, and awards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or related field.
• Demonstrated expertise with technology clients and tech media landscape.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong media relations and thought leadership capabilities.
• Proven ability to lead multiple accounts and mentor teams.
• Confident communicator with executive presence and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts, serving as strategic advisor and primary day-to-day client contact.
• Lead client meetings and strategy discussions, setting priorities and timelines.
• Oversee workflows, assignments, and deliverables to ensure high-quality work on time.
• Drive strategic media outreach and guidance on media relations and opportunities.
• Develop strategic plans and recommendations addressing client needs and trends.
• Monitor goals and performance, adjust strategies to grow client relationships.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment and coach staff.
• Support new business efforts, pitches, and thought leadership initiatives.
• Contribute to ongoing professional development and agency initiatives.
