Job summary

Venue Marketing Group is seeking a Senior Public Relations Manager to join our creative team in Jupiter, FL. You will develop and execute strategic PR initiatives, build strong media relationships, and lead client communications to deliver timely, effective results.

The role requires 4+ years in PR, excellent writing and pitching skills, and experience with campaigns, events, and media outlets. On-site, full-time position with occasional evenings/weekends. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field.
• Four or more years of public relations experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with PR platforms such as Meltwater, Cison.
• Strong knowledge of national, regional, and local media outlets.
• Experience developing and executing integrated communications campaigns.
• Strong writing, editing, and media pitching skills.
• Experience with event planning and management.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• Willingness to occasionally work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic public relations plans for a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local, regional, and national media, as well as social media influencers.
• Write and distribute press releases, media pitches, editorial content, and other communications materials.
• Secure media coverage and ensure messaging aligns with each client’s brand and objectives.
• Coordinate and manage media interviews, press conferences, and public appearances.
• Assist with the planning and execution of client events and promotional activities.
• Coordinate and manage photo shoots during events and special projects.
• Supervise, mentor, and support junior public relations staff.
• Manage multiple client accounts while meeting deadlines and maintaining exceptional quality.
• Develop innovative public relations strategies that elevate clients’ brands and events.
