The role requires 10+ years in agency or client side, ideally in the restaurant and hospitality industry, overseeing media relations, guiding client strategy, mentoring talent and shaping the agency’s continued growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive public relations experience, agency and/or client side.
• Strong writing and pitching capabilities for national/local media.
• Experience leading media relations programs and managing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and mentor a high-performing team of PR specialists, writers and others.
• Oversee all media relations efforts across national, consumer, trade, crisis communications and media training.
• Direct creation, editing, distribution and pitching of press materials and media engagements.
• Develop and refine compelling brand narratives and provide strategic guidance to PR teams.
• Identify opportunities for proactive media engagement and position clients as trusted experts.
• Build and maintain relationships with reporters, editors and digital content creators nationwide.
