AMERICAN SYSTEMS in Arlington, VA is seeking a Senior PPBE Analyst to support the Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Critical Technologies. You will analyze defense budgets, PPBE topics, and advise senior leaders on funding strategies.

You will collaborate with government leads, track program plans with finance, and coordinate with government labs, industry, academia, FFRDCs, UARCs, and international partners to shape modernization efforts. A DoD Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field.
  • 10 years of relevant experience and demonstrated knowledge of the Defense PPBE process.
  • Experience with Defense project management or project management support.
  • Current DoD Secret security clearance and U.S. Citizenship.

As a Senior PPBE Analyst supporting the Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Critical Technologies, you will have the opportunity to do the following:

  • Advise on issues related to the Defense budget for Critical Technology Portfolios. Conduct research and analysis on PPBE and budget topics as needed.
  • Work with Government leads to review and track program plans. Work with finance personnel to track execution.
  • Support outreach by coordinating and engaging with key partners in the RDT&E community including government laboratories, industry, academia, FFRDCs, UARCs, and international partners.
  • Prepare and edit briefings, reports, white papers, and other business and technical products in support of senior leadership decision-making.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field
  • 10 years of relevant work experience and demonstrated knowledge of the Defense PPBE process is required. Experience with Defense project management or project management support as a contractor is highly desired
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, advanced experience with Teams and SharePoint is preferred
  • Current DoD Secret security clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance.
Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $160,000.00/Yr. - USD $200,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
