Job summary

Polaris Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Sr. Powertrain Calibration Lead Engineer to own calibration strategy from requirements to production release.

You will lead calibration teams across dyno, vehicle, field, and production environments, balancing performance, drivability, emissions, and durability. You will manage calibration data, support EPA/CARB certification, and collaborate with module leads and executives to ensure objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Minimum of five years of engineering experience.
• Proficiency with ETAS INCA and/or Vector CANape, vehicle CAN, and A2L/MDF calibration data handling.

Responsibilities

• Define and document calibration requirements for performance, drivability, emissions, and diagnostics at program start.
• Develop and own the calibration plan, work breakdown, timing, and resources to meet milestones.
• Lead calibration engineers across work packages, set direction, remove barriers, develop team capability.
• Lead calibration maturity reviews at Product Development Process gates with metrics and risk communication.
• Own calibration decisions balancing performance, emissions, durability, and program risk; drive issue resolution.
