Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications require a BS/BA with 5+ years of relevant model work, or an MS/MA with 3+ years, or a PhD with 1+ year.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with large-scale power system optimization models and knowledge of grid operations and economics.
  • Fluency in programming or scripting languages (e.g., GAMS, Julia, Python).

Responsibilities

  • Lead teams of junior scientists and engineers to deliver technical tasks on time and budget.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in power system optimization and related policies.
  • Develop and apply simulations and models to assess energy system performance.
  • Publish research results in peer-reviewed journals and reports.
