Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer, Power Systems for its College Station facility. This hands-on role focuses on planning and executing power-related infrastructure projects, collaborating with project managers, designers, and vendors to deliver reliable power for critical site operations.

Based onsite in College Station, TX, you will drive projects from concept through commissioning. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in electrical engineering (or EET) and 5+ years in power systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology.
• 5+ years of professional experience in design and/or build of commercial or industrial power systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary infrastructure project team by performing power-specific engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities for a variety of projects.
• Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for manufacturing, industrial, and commercial type projects.
• Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors across multiple disciplines through contract close-out.
• Coordinate with electrical utility provider for design/engineering to ensure reliable power service to critical site infrastructure.
• Interact with engineers, contractors, fabricators, and project stakeholders
