Job summary

Core States Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Power Systems Designer in Naperville, Illinois. In this role, you will support our Architecture and Engineering business unit, specializing in end-of-life analyses, short circuit coordination, arc flash analyses, and other specialized calculations.

Your responsibilities include assisting with design tasks, conducting site investigations, and coordinating with engineers and project managers. With a compensation range of $40-$58 hourly, this position also offers benefits like a 401(k) match and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in electrical power systems design.
• Experience with commercial projects such as retail, pharmaceutical, etc.
• EIT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design tasks and reports under the direction of senior staff.
• Conduct site feasibility research and site visit investigations.
• Generate reports and recommendations based on findings.
• Assist in maintaining task budgets.
• Coordinate the work of a multi-disciplined team.
• Organize and maintain project files.
