Job summary

Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services & Systems division seeks a Lead Power Distribution Controls Engineer to lead the design, programming, installation, startup and optimization of automated control and power management systems for critical infrastructure.

This hybrid Southeast role involves collaboration with customers, mentoring engineers, and managing project schedules and budgets to deliver reliable, safe solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with significant power distribution controls experience.
• Master’s in Engineering with 5+ years in power distribution controls qualifies.
• 10 years of power distribution controls experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, test, and deploy software for PLCs, data concentrators, relays, generator controllers, and HMIs for automatic transfer applications.
• Follow customer specifications for project implementation.
• Select components and create bill of materials; mentor junior engineers.
