Leap29 is seeking a Power Systems Engineering Consultant to join their U.S. Power Systems team. This role focuses on advanced transmission and grid studies while delivering data-driven insights. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise and hands-on modeling skills.

The successful individual will conduct system performance studies, evaluate interconnection requests, and prepare technical reports. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 7+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in transmission planning, system operations, or power systems consulting.
• Demonstrated expertise in steady-state and dynamic simulations, system impact studies, and grid reliability analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct steady-state, dynamic, and short-circuit studies to assess system performance.
• Perform power flow, transient stability, voltage, and contingency analyses.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
