Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking a Power Area Lead to join our Industrial Commercial Energy group to enhance infrastructure for our clients. The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and ten or more years of experience in the Power Industry, with strong people skills and ability to communicate with clients and staff.

The role requires exceptional interpersonal skills, motivation, organization, and the ability to interpret technical data and perform technical writing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (power) is required.
• 10+ years of experience in the power industry are required.
• Knowledge of power distribution, transmission, and substation is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and engineering execution of distribution and transmission substations for utility and energy clients.
• Serve as the technical lead and engineer of record for substation projects.
• Lead or support client meetings, design reviews, and technical workshops.
• Translate client needs into clear scopes, assumptions, and deliverables.
• Provide engineering judgment and cost/schedule impact analyses.
