Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' experience with BS or 3 years with MS.
• Understanding of semiconductor processes and device physics.
• Experience in semiconductor die level test/final test.
• Proven technical leadership and data-driven mindset.
• Experience with DOE, statistical analysis and process control.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor yield and key device performance to meet customer commits and maintain device health.
• Apply data analysis to identify root causes of parametric shifts or issues.
• Analyze power device electrical tests to feed deviations to stakeholders.
• Drive problem solving across multiple teams (process, flows, product).
• Respond to deviations in product lines and customer concerns to root cause.
• Coordinate with planning to align yield roadmap and start inputs.
• Develop solutions using structured problem-solving methods.
• Prevent quality excursions by monitoring performance and detecting anomalies.

We're looking for a senior semiconductor product engineer to support yield and performance of power products at Wolfspeed. You will work on complex problems and drive solutions in response to product deviations. You will also track and maintain yield performance to enable predictable starts planning and fab stability.

The Day-to-Day

• Monitor product yield and key device performance attributes to maintain customer commits while ensuring device health.
• Strong data analysis skills to drive root cause for parametric shifts or issues.
• Analyze Power Device electrical tests to feedback deviations to relevant stakeholders.
• Drive problem solving across multiple teams (i.e. process, flows, product).
• Respond to deviations in our product lines and customer concerns and drive to root cause.
• Works with planning to align on yield roadmap and Input start requirements.
• Develop solutions to problems utilizing structured problem-solving tools.
• Prevent quality excursions, monitor process performance, and compile and analyze data to detect any process or product anomalies.

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements)

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Equivalent. Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 year's experience with a BS or 3 year's experience with a Masters.
• Understanding of semiconductor processes and device physics.
• Experience in semiconductor die level test/final test.
• Proven track record of technical leadership.
• Experience in design of experiments, statistical analysis, and process control, including a passion for data analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

$123,000.00 - $169,000.00
