Job summary

Peraton seeks an experienced Power Platforms Developer/Architect to lead SME efforts for the USMC Power Platforms environment. You will design, deploy, and operate Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, integrate with SPO, and ensure secure, compliant operations across on-prem and cloud ecosystems.

The role requires DoD clearance, IAT II certification potential, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet cybersecurity and mission requirements, with occasional USMC site

Qualifications

• 16+ years with BS/BA degree; or a minimum of 14 years with MS/MA; or minimum of 10 years with Ph.D. An additional 4 years will be considered in lieu of the bachelors degree.
• Ability to obtain IAT II Certification and Cyber Workforce Roles (8140) for the position.
• Specific knowledge and recognized SME experience with PowerPlatforms/SPO Enterprise configuration, management and customer infrastructure integration.
• Demonstrated experience and ability to use design, deploy, operate Power Platform/M365/SPO capabilities focused on associated and supporting infrastructure including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI (to include associated Power Platform components such as DataVerse).
• Demonstrated experience and ability to integrate Power Platforms/SPO capabilities using SharePoint Framework Toolchain (SPFx) solutions, PnP Powershell, HTML, Visual Studio, Java Script.
• Experience gathering and managing customer requirements and using agile approach to planning development efforts.
• Senior-level knowledge and experience developing capabilities for via Power Platforms and for SharePoint online environment.
• Demonstrated excellence in customer communication for development efforts and cooperative work with all other developers on operation, security and sustainability of the environment.
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of secure development practices, and DOD STIG and application security practices and requirements.
• Demonstrated experience with code review and DOD security requirements and remediation practices.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active/Current DoD Secret Security Clearance (Tier 3 BI).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the SME Architect and Engineer for the USMC Power Platforms environment.
• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise On-Premises Data Gateways (ODG) to enable secure, high-availability, and load-balanced data integration between legacy on-premises USMC networks and cloud environments.
• Design, develop, deploy, operate, configure, administer, troubleshoot the Power Platforms environment and Applications with OEM vendor.
• Enable and support Power Platforms integration with USMC network and application operations.
• Support cybersecurity requirements including those needed to obtain approval to operate and authorization to use Power Platforms development platforms and developed capabilities.
• Responsible for development of Power Platform/SPO capabilities supporting the cybersecurity and operations of the SPO environment.
• Support USMC customers world-wide to enable warfighter operations via Power Platforms and SharePoint Online (SPO) capabilities.
• Support customer communication for development efforts and cooperatively works with all other developers on operation, security and sustainability of the environment.
• Support resolution of issues including investigation and diagnosis, workaround enactment, root cause analysis and resolution for all incidents and problems.
• Support USMC Enterprise App Store and App Catalog for SharePoint Framework Toolchain (SPFx) solutions, PnP Powershell, HTML, Visual Studio, Java Script internal and external to the enterprise.
• Will require occasional visits to USMC location for network access in support of remote work arrangements.
