Job summary

Eridu AI, a Silicon Valley hardware startup, seeks a Power Engineer to develop board-mounted power (BMP) solutions for data center technologies and improve performance and reliability across the product lifecycle.

You will design DC-DC converters, AC-DC modules, and power management circuits, collaborate with PCB teams, simulate with LTspice/HSPice, and work with suppliers to select robust components for demanding environments.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required; MS preferred.
• 10+ years of power design experience, preferably in high-power data center environments.
• Proficient in schematic capture and CAD layout review tools.
• Deep knowledge of latest power technologies and troubleshooting BMP systems.
• Hands-on experience with stability analyzers, oscilloscopes, function generators, and electronic loads.

Responsibilities

• Develop power supply solutions including voltage regulation, power conversion and distribution.
• Design DC-DC converters, AC-DC modules, linear regulators, and power management circuits.
• Use LTspice or HSPice to model circuit performance.
• Collaborate with PCB layout engineers for optimal routing of power components.
• Implement best practices to minimize noise, EMI and crosstalk.
• Source and procure reliable power components from suppliers.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate efficiency and thermal performance.
