Job summary
GE Aerospace in Dayton seeks an Advanced Staff Engineer – Power Electronics to lead design, analysis, and maturation of high-performance power-electronics systems for aerospace applications. You will guide technical teams and ensure alignment with roadmaps for power generation, conversion, and energy storage.
You will mentor engineers, drive technical reviews, collaborate with suppliers and customers, and help shape technology roadmaps while complying with aerospace standards and safety
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in power electronics engineering.
- Experience designing and supporting power-conversion hardware and systems.
- Ability to lead technical workstreams and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams on power-electronics programs.
- Lead design, development, and maturation of power-conversion systems and energy-storage integration.
- Develop analyses and present decisions, risks, and recommendations at technical reviews.
- Serve as customer-facing technical lead and coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing.
