Job summary

ChargePoint is seeking an experienced Power Electronics Controls and Firmware Engineer to develop embedded firmware for fast-charging solutions. You will prototype and implement control algorithms, and validate designs through simulations and real hardware.

The role requires strong C/C++ skills, experience with power converters and real-time systems, and a track record in lab-based debugging and HIL testing.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of proven experience developing Power Electronics products.
• 6+ years of programming in C/C++, Assembly for 32-bit controllers, DSP, and Python for scripting.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement embedded control systems for PFC, grid-tie, grid-forming inverters, bidirectional chargers, DC/DC converters.
• Validate concepts through simulations and hands-on lab testing.
• Develop device drivers for CAN, I2C, SPI and test firmware in real-time environments.
