Job summary

LeoForce in Richardson, TX is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, test, and optimize power electronics systems, including power distribution, battery tech, and schematic diagrams.

You will lead design reviews, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with manufacturing to ensure robust, compliant solutions while advancing project milestones in a fast-paced environment. Experience with AutoCAD and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or other CAD software.
• In-depth knowledge of power systems, battery technology, and schematic design (Rectifiers, Inverters, Converters, DC Power).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test power electronics, including power systems, battery technology, and schematic diagrams.
• Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
• Use AutoCAD to perform engineering tasks.
• Support manufacturing with product development and testing.
• Create and execute project work plans and revise as needed.
• Identify opportunities for improvements and propose changes.
• Manage project team resources and delegate tasks to hit milestones.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements and advise management.
