Job summary

Solugenix is seeking a Power BI Developer for a full-time role based in Dallas, Texas with remote flexibility. You will design and develop BI reports and dashboards, optimize performance, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver KPI-driven insights.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience with SQL and Power BI, strong SQL Server skills, and familiarity with AI tools to optimize queries. Knowledge of Git, agile methods, and effective stakeholder communication is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or 5+ years of domain experience in Mortgage servicing/MSP ICE products.
7+ years of experience developing reports using SQL and Power BI.
Strong knowledge of Joins, SSMS, queries and result sets.
Experience with SQL Server 2022+ and database management using SSMS.
Experience using AI tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, or Claude.
Ability to work with AI-first strategy and tune queries to improve code.
Experience developing dashboards and reports.
Excellent communication and requirements management skills.

Responsibilities

Design and develop BI reports and dashboards.
Build and lead KPI-centric relationships with cross-functional team members.
Implement persistent derived tables, caching policies, version control, and assess code quality.
Investigate, improve and optimize query performance.
Help create and maintain coding standards and perform code reviews.
Assist with platform administration.
Develop accurate calculations and validate ad-hoc calculations for large datasets.
Run unit tests via SQL Runner for data validation.
Work on projects from feature definition to deployment.
Inform and assist peers and stakeholders on business initiatives.
Knowledge of Git and its interaction with Looker.
