Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of hands‑on experience with Power BI
• Strong expertise in DAX
• Data modeling (star schema, fact/dimension design)
• Power BI Service & workspace management
• Experience working with large, complex datasets
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation
• Proven ability to build executive‑ready dashboards and operational reports
• Experience working in enterprise or global organizations
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non‑technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Design and build Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models for enterprise audiences
• Develop optimized DAX measures for complex KPIs, trends, and performance analysis
• Implement star‑schema and dimensional models to support scalable analytics
• Apply best practices for visual design, usability, and performance
• Leverage Power BI Service capabilities including Apps, workspaces, deployment pipelines
• Row‑level security (RLS) and object‑level security
• Scheduled refresh and data gateways
• Work with Microsoft Fabric‑aligned architectures, including Lakehouse/ Direct Lake/ DirectQuery
• Partner with data engineers on data pipelines, refresh strategies, and model optimization
• Consume data from multiple enterprise sources (ERP, manufacturing, finance, etc)
• Optimize report and model performance by reducing size and cardinality
• Implement aggregation and incremental refresh strategies
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs
• Translate requirements into dashboards and insights
• Establish governance standards for datasets and reporting
• Support user adoption through documentation and enablement sessions
