Job summary

Infosys Limited is hiring for an Infrastructure Consultant 2 focused on PostgreSQL administration, SQL/Oracle to PostgreSQL migration, and AWS cloud services. The role emphasizes performance, high availability, backup and security governance within cloud-enabled infrastructure.

You will collaborate across onsite and offshore teams to deliver scalable database solutions. We seek candidates with a strong background in PostgreSQL, AWS tools, and database migrations, plus a bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required.
• This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve complex incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and document findings with preventive recommendations.
• Contribute to the design of scalable, cost-effective IT infrastructure solutions, review reusable components, and develop technical documentation for deployed systems.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules, emergency fixes, and technology upgrades while ensuring uninterrupted integration into existing systems and processes.
• Develop a centralized repository of technical and procedural knowledge, leveraging insights from other projects to drive efficiency and retain organizational expertise.
