Job summary

Harbor, part of Publicis Groupe, seeks a Senior Post Technology Engineer for CG and VFX. Based in Santa Monica, you will lead tech operations, support artist workflows, and mentor staff across Linux, Windows, and Mac environments.

You’ll manage pipeline tools, optimize storage and render farms, and collaborate with global teams to uphold high technical standards in a fast-paced post-production setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5–7 years in post-production engineering or media technology.
• Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Flame, Maya, Nuke, Avid, Nexis, Premiere Pro.
• Strong networking, routing, and switching understanding.
• Experience supporting remote workflows and streaming platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead software/hardware support for artists using VFX/CG apps.
• Oversee VFX pipeline tools like ShotGrid or Visional.
• Manage media transfers with Signiant/MASV/Aspera.
• Maintain production workstations and render farms across OS.
• Coordinate with vendors and update internal standards.
• Support remote VFX artists and on-site training sessions.
